DFPA's International work

With local partners, we fight for all people to fulfill their sexual and reproductive rights and health.

Sexual and reproductive health and rights are under pressure globally. Through strong alliances, DFPA have worked internationally for more than 20 years for the freedom to decide on one's own gender, body and sexuality.

We work with and for young people, women and LGBT+ people in the fight for access to sexual and reproductive health. Our partners know which changes and projects provide value in the specific local community to improve sexual and reproductive rights. Our international program efforts have a special focus on Africa.

Politically, we work globally to strengthen sexual and reproductive rights globally under, among other things, the UN auspices and through our federation International Planned Parenthood Federation.
